Snap Circuits Flying Saucer I bought this for my 8 year old nephew and he LOVED it! I have since added other Snap Circuit kits to his collection, and these are things he uses over and over. He and his Dad have used them with their Scout troop, big hit there as well. I was so impressed that I added the Snap Circuit line as a suggestion for toys on a Christmas list for a charity I work with, and many members of the group purchased them for an orphanage in Africa where there are many older kids. They were delivered at Christmas and our representatives showed the workers how to use them. I was thrilled recently to receive a video of the kids (and the adult workers there!) just having a ball with them! The huge smiles, laughter and eyes wide with wonder were amazing to watch! One of their favorites is the Snap Circuits Musical Recorder, they received several, and the kids fight over this one! They provide a very unique learning experience for the kids there who otherwise would not have a chance to see how these kinds of things work. Very, very highly recommended!

Uncle Mike’s Medium Pistol Rug I got the medium size over the large because I wanted a bag that would take up as little room in my range bag.I use it for a HK UPS 40 S&W full size and it is a tight fit but it fits.The inner lining is very padded so it will form fit around the pistol later but closing it now is not hard but another 1/2 inch in height for the gun it would be no good.I also have a Berreta PX4 9mm Full Size and that fits snug also.If you have any extended magazines for these ,the rug would be too small.The problem with the rug is it height not lenght.Hope this helps;nice rug for the price,if you own a handgun you should keep it in a rug to keep it nice.Update:I posted a couple of pictures to give you an idea of the size and how padded this rug is.

Munchkin Traveling Flash Cards I got these flashcards for my 6 month old daughter, knowing she was a little young for them. But she LOVES them! Everytime I pull them out she squeals and I flip through and say the name of the letter, and trace her finger over it and talk about the animal. Granted, we only get to about the letter “G” before she loses attention and wants to chew on them. They are not very chew-friendly, of course, since it’s laminated paper really, so I don’t ever just hand them to her. I love that there are unique animals that correspond to the letters, not the typical “A is for apple” stuff. Buyers should know that these are not cutesy cartoon pictures, they are real photographs (which I think is more fun and educational anyway). Great buy, and great price. Will definitely use for years to come, I might purchase a second set as a back up.

3 Pack Merkur Double Edge Razor Blades, Box of 10 I don’t have an especially heavy beard and i’ve tried several different brands of blades. The Merkurs are an excellent choice. I don’t believe they are the sharpest blade I’ve used but they are more than adequate. For me, their biggest asset is consistency and that’s a big plus if you have ever gotten a dud out of your razor dispenser and scratched or nicked yourself with a “new” blade. If I had to pick a “con”, it would be the cost of the blades.

Un-Petroleum Multi-Purpose Jelly 3.5oz I love love love this stuff! My face is dry and sensitive, so I need all the moisture that I can get. At night time, I remove makeup, wash my face, use my toner, then moisturize my face and eyes and finish with a thick jelly to seal everything in and give my face a little extra hydration. Before I discovered this, I was using Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream. The Elizabeth Arden worked well, but there were several problems with it.

1. The smell. The 8 hour cream has fragrance (not at all good for my sensitive skin), and the smell was awful. My boyfriend wouldn’t even come near me when I was wearing it.

2. The mineral oil. It burned my skin a bit. It didn’t cause breakouts or redness, but it wasn’t very soothing at all.

3. The price. I spend a bit more on my beauty products, but I try to mix the expensive with the cheap and try to find cheaper solutions that are still good quality. The 8 Hour Cream was about , so it wasn’t crazy expensive, but it was still more than I would have liked to spend considering how much I use.

With the Un-Petroleum Jelly, all these issues were solved. It has no smell, no added fragrance, no mineral oil, feels oh so luscious when I put it on, and you can’t beat the price. It’s perfect in every way. When I finish putting all of my other things on my face, I put this all over, including under my eyes, on the eyelid, eyelashes and eyebrows. My lashes and brows feel so much more hyrdrated and my skin looks flawless. It just shows, if you like the idea of a product, search around, do some research and see what else you can find until you’ve found the perfect solution. That’s what I did and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

Dora the Explorer : Mr. Face Plush Backpack (Purple) This is a great little bag for a toddler to carry small stuff around in, like crayons/markers, bedtime books or a pair of pjs. It fits my 2-1/2 year old niece perfectly and she’s about average-sized. It even has a little map to grandma’s house attached with a short cord. Although the cord is rather short, any longer would probably make it a choking/strangling hazard.

The first thing my niece tried to do was rip the map off the cord, but she didn’t succeed (and she’s a real BAM-BAM child). Next, she went around trying to put everything she came across into it, including a football, which didn’t fit, but she gave it the old college try, with no ripping or tearing of the backpack. So, if anything goes missing, you know where to look first! It seems pretty durable and after a couple weeks, it still has its eyes and mouth and the straps are intact.
